The NBA has done a preliminary schedule release outlining a few of the major games that will come in the first half of the season, most notably Opening Night and Christmas Day. The Warriors will be involved in both affairs, playing the Los Angeles Lakers in both a play-in rematch and a possible playoff preview for the opener. The home opener will see the franchise rival Los Angeles Clippers coming to Chase Center, and the Dubs will be facing off against long-time Warriors nemesis Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns on Christmas Day, per The Athletic’s Anthony Slater. All three matchups are solid looks at how the team will be setting the tone early in the season, as all are against the West’s top dogs when at full strength.

And this time it was just Kevin Durant, showing love for the Bay Area with an Oakland A’s hat, who was prepared to provide the answer for his former teammate.
“How much did our argument against the Clippers drive you to ultimately leave the Warriors?”
Read MoreIt’s officially been over 700 days since Klay Thompson last played an NBA game. Warriors fans, along with the rest of the NBA world, desperately miss watching Thompson play competitively, but Klay has been blessing us with some quality entertainment off of the court—especially this summer.
Klay has always been a legend on social media, but this year, he’s kicked it up a notch. For most of the summer, Klay has been vibing on his boat in the Bay, where he’s gone live several times. We’ve seen Boat Klay jamming and singing to Drake, talking about his potential return to the court this coming season, and fishing. Steph Curry called Klay’s boat content “the best content in the world,” and it really is.

Thousands of hours spent on a basketball court, not to mention the weight room, watching film, on the road traveling to games, and the mental toll it can take. All with the ultimate goal of one day hearing NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, call their names in a room full of other talented athletes.
Read MoreIt’s no secret Klay Thompson has had a very Klay-like summer as he recovers from an Achilles tear suffered a week prior to the start of the 2020-2021 season.
Through his social media channels, among other places, we’ve seen Klay in many different settings over the last few months. From attending the premier of Space Jam 2, a film Thompson had a role in, sailing around the Bay on his boat, putting in work on the basketball court, and most recently sticking his head out of a window in what one can only assume is Mexico, screaming “VIVA MEXICO!”, Klay has been enjoying life as only he can. The latter was posted to his Instagram account on Friday.
The viral video quickly made its way around the internet and caught the eye of Golden State Warriors forward and teammate of Thompson, Juan Toscano-Anderson. Toscano-Anderson, a Mexican-American, quote tweeted the video with “Klay we accept you as an honorary Mexican my brotha. Viva 🇲🇽”.
Read MoreEver since being drafted with the 28th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Jordan Poole has been one of the most polarizing players in the Warriors organization.
Prior to the draft, Poole was most known for his buzzer-beater to beat Wisconsin in the Round of 32 in March Madness 2018. Poole and his Michigan team wound up making it all the way to the National Championship, where they lost to Villanova. Poole would declare for the draft following that game.
However, a deeper look at Poole’s college profile paints a picture as to why so many Warriors fans were skeptical about using a high pick to get him. He only played two years at Michigan, one coming strictly off the bench, and the other coming as a full time starter who averaged 12.8 points/game while shooting 37% from three.
