Iguodala wishes Max Kellerman the best after leaving ESPN show

After five years co-hosting ESPN’s hit debate show, First Take, on Wednesday Max Kellerman said his final goodbye.

ESPN hinted at moving in another direction with the show in August, and it was no secret that Kellerman’s hosting partner, Steven A. Smith, was also ready for another co-host. Stephen A. Smith has wanted Kellerman off the show for years, as Kellerman had a “smartest guy in the room” persona, Smith was looking for more of a “debating challenger”. Smith got his way, although he said there were no hard feelings and even wished Max the best on his final show with a heartfelt message.

Klay Thompson Offers Humor And Optimism During Latest Boat Livestream

This offseason, Klay Thompson has spent a portion of his free time driving his boat around San Francisco Bay and live-streaming his journeys on Instagram. He offers updates on his rehabilitation from a torn Achilles tendon, gives a stream-of-consciousness commentary on things he sees while on the water and generally entertains in his typical manner.

On Thursday, Thompson offered up another episode of his adventures. While enjoying his time on the boat, he couldn’t help but turn his attention to basketball and the Warriors’ upcoming season.

Warriors “Unlikely” to Acquire Ben Simmons

The Athletic’s Warriors writer Anthony Slater reported today that the Warriors-Simmons connection may not be as viable as many thought. Slater stated in his report that "There isn’t — and has never been — a realistic offer on the table for Golden State to discuss” (via The Athletic). There is a myriad of reasons why this won’t materialize, as many have speculated, due to a split on both sides. The biggest questions are mainly surrounding Simmons’ value, the Warriors’ needs, Philly GM (and long-time Warriors dissident) Daryl Morey, and potential pieces in Kuminga and Wiseman.

Collison scrimmages with Stephen Curry and Warriors

The Warriors are still in need of another point guard on the roster.

Bob Myers mentioned it in a media availability a few weeks ago and looking a the roster it would make sense that the Warriors could use another “ball-handling guard”, as Myers put it, especially in the event that Stephen Curry or Jordan Poole miss some time on the court.
