Rockets' Rookie Josh Christopher's Old Tweets About Steph Curry Have Come to Surface

As sure as the the sun comes up every morning, an NBA rookie will get their old tweets pulled up in the first few weeks or so following draft night. The Rockets’ newly drafted Joshua Christopher was no exception.

I was alerted of an image someone put together which contained a tweet compilation of sorts of Steph Curry slander. There was multiple tweets from 2016, all bashing Curry, and they were all from Christopher, also known as JayGup’s twitter page. Naturally, I posted it to twitter as some of the tweets were hilarious. Like the “Steven Adams > Steph Curry” one for example.

One of the more notable missing names from Team USA’s Olympic run this past summer in Tokyo was Warriors guard and perennial MVP candidate Steph Curry. Curry opted out of the Olympics after Golden State’s heartbreakers against the Lakers and Grizzlies in the play-in. It appears that Steph chose to take the offseason to rest and gear up for another title run next year and beyond: He just signed a four-year extension with the Warriors and with his skillset, certainly has the longevity to be a dominant force in the league for years to come. But will he be playing in the 2024 Olympics?

Warriors Reported to be "Enamored" With Pascal Siakam

Aside from the signing of Andre Iguodala to a one-year deal, Golden State hasn’t made much of a splash in free agency or via trade. Not yet at least.

A recent report from Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee has linked the Golden State Warriors to the Toronto Raptors’ Pascal Siakam. According to Anderson’s sources the Raptors are receiving numerous calls from teams around the league regarding Siakam. The source claims Toronto’s team president Masai Ujiri is “listening like a good negotiator.” Apparently the Sacramento Kings, Warriors, and Los Angeles Clippers are “enamored” by the power forward from the North. The report did go on to say that the likelihood of Siakam is relatively low as Siakam doesn’t have any wish to leave his current team. However if the Raptors are listening to offers certainly anything could happen.

One of the more well known sports talking heads, Skip Bayless, went to Twitter recently to do what he does best, attempt to stir up controversy.
