The Warriors have had a busy off-season thus far. They drafted two players in the lottery, then got right to work in free agency. Even though they haven’t been flashy, the moves they have made thus far were gaudy enough to catch the attention of Las Vegas bettors, as they currently have the fourth-best pre-season odds to win the 2022 NBA championship, behind the Brooklyn Nets, LA Lakers, and Milwaukee Bucks.

The main question that the Warriors’ front office needed to answer during this offseason was this: can they do enough to maximize their current championship window with Steph, Klay, and Draymond, while simultaneously building for the future? Let’s take a closer look.

Warriors to work out Darren Collison for possible return to NBA

It’s pretty clear that the Golden State Warriors are not quite finished making — or attempting to make — offseason free agency moves.

Just a little over a week ago, Warriors GM Bob Myers mentioned the team’s need for a guard during media availability.

So it isn’t shocking that the Warriors are planning to work out retired, 34-year old point guard Darren Collison, according to a report from Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.

Richard Jefferson feels Draymond and KD unfairly threw Bob Myers and Steve Kerr under the bus following dispute

On a recent episode of the “Road Trippin’” podcast, host Richard Jefferson expressed some thoughts on Draymond Green’s recent discussion with former teammate Kevin Durant on Green’s “Chips” podcast.

Green and Durant essentially placed most of the blame for their infamous Staples Center blowup on Warriors Head Coach, Steve Kerr, and General Manager, Bob Myers. Green had recalled some choice words he shared with Myers during the whole ordeal.

Curry joins NFT craze with $180,000 investment

Newly minted member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, former back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry has taken a plunge into the NFT world.

Late Friday evening Curry updated his Twitter profile photo with that of a cartoon ape. But not just any cartoon ape, this ape, in particular, is one of 10,000 other apes which are part of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection. It also came with a hefty price tag of 55 ETH, which has a current market value of $180,000.

ESPN Eyeing Draymond Green for Broadcasting Role

It’s no secret that Draymond Green would be an excellent hoops analyst. A cerebral talent on both ends of the floor and a career spent so far with the best point guard of all time means he knows the game inside and out, and he’s proven it with a number of guest appearances on Turner Sports’ flagship basketball show, Inside the NBA. Many believe Green will have a long career around the league after he retires from his playing days, as his blend of game IQ and personality lend extremely well to a TV and analysis role.
