Warriors Re-sign a Familiar Face, Promote Bay Area Product

An NBA journeyman has made it back to where it all started, while another has secured his spot on a playoff team.

Jordan Bell signed with the Golden State Warriors on Friday, marking his return via a two-way contract to a team he debuted for in 2017 and last played for in the 2018-19 season. The move also elevated Juan Toscano-Anderson to the 15-man roster after the forward was previously with the team on a two-way contract.

Draymond Green for First-Team All-Defense

This is the official campaign for Draymond Green making the All-Defensive First Team. Green is the quarterback, the leader for this Golden State defense. As Lakers Keep Scuffling, the Bay vs. LA Could Go Down

LeBron James thinks the play-in for the NBA playoffs is a bad idea. Which is odd, because in March 2020, James thought having the 7-11 seeds duke it out late in the regular season was a good idea.

After all, the Warriors notched the victory on the first-ever “Arena of Heroes” event, a collaboration between the NBA and Marvel, presented on ESPN. If you happened to catch it on ESPN2, it was, by all means, a first of its kind for the NBA.

Another Setback for the Dubs With Kelly Oubre’s Injury

It seems that every time that the Warriors move one step forward and all is looking up in the world of Golden State basketball, another complication arises.

Kelly Oubre Jr. reportedly has a torn ligament in his left wrist and a fracture on the palm, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Oubre reaggravated his wrist on April 9th in the first matchup with the Wizards, missed 11 days and then returned for 5 games. He attempted to play through the injury during that span.

Golden State’s bench production will be the deciding factor as the Warriors close out the season

Stephen Curry dropping 23 points in the third quarter and sparking a 24-0 run will be the highlight of the Warriors’ 113-87 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday but don’t overlook the other contributions in the box score. Golden State has emulated the phrase “Strength in Numbers” from the beginnings of their dynasty to the height of the Hamptons Five. And make no mistake, the phrase carries equal importance as the Warriors close out the season.
