The Warriors unique culture of playing free and having a sense of joy has attracted many big marquee free agents in the past, but some of the signings that went under the radar have proven to be critical players in championship runs in the past.

Tuesday night, the Warriors traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Nets and former Warriors legend Kevin Durant.
The anticipation for this marquee matchup was palpable. Two former teammates, both of which were NBA champions together, and are the two highest scorers in the NBA. Durant, averaging 29.6 per game, and Curry averaging 28.1. This matchup between two of the league's greatest scores was guaranteed to deliver.

The Warriors had a marquee matchup versus the Nets on Nov. 16 where Stephen Curry would go up against his former teammate Durant. With the Nets having as much firepower as anyone else in the league, the Warriors knew they had to somehow switch it up on defense to slow down Durant.

He did not make the right plays down the stretch, but he was still an impactful player on the game despite a myriad of errors.
