The Golden State Warriors of yore (prior to Kevin Durant in 2017, so not that long ago) have always thrived on bench depth, and the franchise has always been very resourceful in creating contenders with little resources. It used to be veteran presences looking for a surefire ring, but with the Warriors a bit of a question mark this past offseason, players like Patty Mills and Paul Millsap who were the marquee vets this past free agency forewent the Dubs for teams like the Lakers and Nets.

It was captioned, “chemistry crazy.” Morant may get a pass because he just got drafted a few years ago, but as for the rest of the league, they need to step their game up if they want to try to stop the two former champions.

Tuesday night, the Warriors traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Nets and former Warriors legend Kevin Durant.
The anticipation for this marquee matchup was palpable. Two former teammates, both of which were NBA champions together, and are the two highest scorers in the NBA. Durant, averaging 29.6 per game, and Curry averaging 28.1. This matchup between two of the league's greatest scores was guaranteed to deliver.

The Warriors had a marquee matchup versus the Nets on Nov. 16 where Stephen Curry would go up against his former teammate Durant. With the Nets having as much firepower as anyone else in the league, the Warriors knew they had to somehow switch it up on defense to slow down Durant.
