Klay trolls Curry via Instagram, as fans anxiously await his return.
Klay Thompson is back at it again with his off-the-court hilarious antics.
Thursday, Thompson re-posted a Warriors Instagram post highlighting the anniversary of Curry’s NBA debut. Klay’s caption read “The fit gives me peaky blinders vibes”.

In recent months, we have seen Klay begin to show us more of his personality. I’m all for it. The dude is hilarious. Whether it be his boat rides to the stadium or him doing his best Bruce Lee impression on the beaches of SF, his content is unrivaled.
Klay is itching to get back to hoops. But it is nice to know that his spirits are still high. I can’t imagine all he’s been through in the last couple of years dating back to when he tore his ACL in game 6 of the 2019 NBA finals. I think that there is a lot to be said about the way he has handled these injuries.
While Klay’s return is imminent, It’s nice to know that he has been enjoying himself throughout the rehabilitation process. A process that can take a very big toll on a person’s mental stability.
Before both of his injuries, Klay was an obvious fan favorite for the way he played on the court and the occasional flashes of his hilarious personality. But with his time spent away from the game, I think that we as fans have gotten to understand and know him better as a person.
We did not want to lose him in the first place. But to look at a pretty bad situation and turn it good, our support and love for Klay has only grown. The adage, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” is true here. There is a great quote from sports writer Ali Thanawalla that I believe sums up the culmination of Klay’s return, “Whenever Thompson plays that first game, there won't be a dry eye in the building. Even Curry and his Warriors teammates might need a box of tissues close to the court”.
We have had the opportunity to watch Steph, Dray, and Klay play together for an entire decade. We have also had the opportunity to watch them grow up. And in turn, we have grown with them. This season feels special for many reasons, but most of all, special because it feels like it is the culmination and mark of a new dawn. The past few years have been hard on nearly everyone, so when we can see Klay come back I think it will be symbolic of a much bigger picture. Symbolic, that with time, we can heal and come back better than ever.
