Steph Curry gives interesting answer when asked if he's been in contact with Bob Myers regarding Ben Simmons

Stephen Curry is a very busy man, and this week he finds himself at the Ryder Cup, where he will join and provide coverage of the team golf event for NBC Sports as part of Curry’s recently inked monumental talent deal with Comcast NBCUniversal.

While covering the event on Friday, Curry made time to interview for the ‘Brother from Another’ podcast hosted by Michael Holley and Michael Smith. Among the topics discussed was disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers star, Ben Simmons.

One of the hosts asked Curry whether or not he was talking to Bob Myers about Ben Simmons’ availability, to which Curry laughingly responded with, “you tryna get some money taken out of my pocket now...”, but the two-time league MVP did give the show hosts a little insight before the subject matter quickly changed. “Let’s say, if you’re not having those conversations, you’re not trying”, said Curry. “Let’s put it that way.”

Golden State owner, Joe Lacob, who was recently fined by the NBA for violating its anti-tampering rules for making comments about Simmons, expressed that he did not exactly think that the Sixers star was a good fit for the Warriors. However, from Curry’s recent comments on the situation, it seems that internal conversations may have been had nonetheless. That isn’t totally surprising, however, as Simmons was linked to the Warriors some weeks ago when the Sixers reportedly offered the defensive player of the candidate up in a trade proposal with Golden State, but the asking price was laughably high.

We’ve seen that anything can happen in the NBA in regards to trades being executed out of the blue, so who knows. Never say never, especially after hearing Curry’s comments on the situation.
