Klay Thompson pulls up to Giants game on his boat, gets spotted in stands
Three-time NBA Champion Klay Thompson will be making his long-awaited return to the court this coming season, and Warriors fans couldn’t be more ecstatic to see the comeback. Golden State has lofty expectations this year as they battle back to contention, and the return of the greatest backcourt in the NBA will be pivotal to seeing that goal to fruition.
It’s been a long two years since we’ve last seen Klay on the court, but by all means, he has made his return worthwhile, even entertaining fans along the way. This offseason has been no exception, with Klay’s Instagram lives from his boat proving to be the heartwarming entertainment needed this summer.
Just recently, Thompson took his boat for a ride all the way to McCovey Cove, chatting some Giants baseball as well as providing insight into the coming season.
The support for the San Francisco Giants this week didn’t stop there, as Klay Thompson was spotted at tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers:
It’s not uncommon to see the Warriors support their neighbor San Francisco Giants, the likes of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Festus Ezeli (to name a few) have all made appearances at Oracle Park.
But of course, Klay Thompson is one of a kind, and he pulled up to the Giants game in the only way he could: via the Instagram famous boat:
Klay Thompson has been the national treasure of the summer, a jolt of entertainment that was needed with the coming season just around the corner. At the same time, Klay’s iconic IG lives and utmost support for the Giants may have some mutual positive effects for both teams.
The Giants are vying for the best record in baseball and looking to make a deep postseason run in October. Golden State meanwhile is looking to take advantage of being back at full strength and reclaiming their spot atop the Western Conference. Showing support among both Bay Area teams might just reap positive benefits for all.
Klay himself said it best, and by pulling up to Oracle Park and showing support to the Giants in person, he may have inevitably spoken it into existence: We need some champions in the Bay this year.”
