Draymond Green throws the wedding of the century
The Warriors have thrown their fair share of celebrations this offseason, but Draymond Green added one more special occasion to that list: His wedding. He married his fiancé Hazel Renee after being engaged since early 2019. The two had a star-studded wedding which included performances from DaBaby and Roddy Rich. As well as a fair share of professional athletes. Among them were his teammates in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Moses Moody as well as former teammate Juan Toscano Anderson.
He also invited the Warriors’ longtime rival- Lebron James and Klutch CEO, Rich Paul. The list doesn’t end there though. Also captured in pictures were Seth Curry and the Curry family, Jayson Tatum, Tatum’s dad, and of course, Michigan State’s longtime coach- Tom Izzo.
It just goes to show how great of an impact Draymond has had on the NBA and how many people support him off the court. Those were just some of the people pictured but the list is most likely to have been ten times larger than that. Whether you love him or hate him, Draymond will always speak his mind and many athletes gravitate toward that kind of mindset.
After multiple years of high stress, injuries, and what can only be described as bad luck, Draymond and the Warriors deserve to rest and relax in the offseason. Green is one of only four players in NBA playoff history to rank in the top 25 all-time in assists, blocks, and steals, so if anyone deserves a break it’s him.
His party favors seemed to suggest that he also wanted any of his guests in attendance interested in partaking in some mindfulness to take the edge off and relax as there looks to have been a well-stocked cannabis bar equipped with “Hazel Haze” as well as some “All Day Day”. Nice touch.
At the end of the day, even all the Draymond haters out there living in their parent’s basement had to appreciate the extravagant celebration that Draymond and his bride Hazel put on for their nuptials. Only the finest for Mr. and Mrs. Green. And he deserves to have his moment so congratulations to Draymond and Hazel on what appeared to be an amazing wedding weekend.
