Andre Iguodala seems very excited to play with James Wiseman: "I'm about to go crazy with buddy..."

It’s no secret that most everyone in the Warriors organization is very high on second-year player, James Wiseman.

Last year, Golden State owner Joe Lacob even said that Wiseman was a 'Once-in-a-decade kind of guy', and has more recently mentioned that it would be “Very unlikely” that the Warriors would even consider a trade involving Wiseman.

So when a veteran guy like Andre Iguodala, who has played with many NBA players and superstars, has positive things to say about Wiseman, then you know Wiseman’s ceiling is next level.

The 17-year NBA vet recently commented on an Instagram post from the Warriors’ official account featuring James Wiseman’s rookie year dunks. Iguodala’s comment read, “Damn! I’m about to go crazy with buddy…”.

And that wasn’t it. The former Finals MVP was on hit radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’, earlier this week, chatting about entrepreneurship, LeBron James’ Finals block against him, Draymond Green’s game five Finals suspension having “external factors” surrounding it, and more, when he brought up his new seven-foot teammate during the interview. “Young fella’s good too, Wiseman, Wiseman’s good…he’s gonna be real good.”

Iguodala has been outspoken about wanting to help the younger players on his team and even in the NBA as a whole in regards to developing on the basketball court, but also developing on the business side as well. Andre, a savvy investor in his own right, is currently invested in about 55 tech companies, and that number is only growing.

Whether he’ll be setting the second-year prospect up with lobs on the basketball court, or lobs by way of investment advise off the court, it’s good to see that he will be watching over Wiseman’s growth as a whole. Especially since it looks like Wiseman could potentially be the face of the Warriors franchise one day.
